from Grey’s Anatomy!
1. We need space. We have to give someone (we love) some space to be alone. Because we will need to be alone too.
2. We would do anything for someone (we love).
3. We will try to go on as usual. Because we have to. No one will care for us. Yes they will listen but, what else could they do. We have to get a grip and go on. Life goes on.
4. We have to be strong. We will hear people saying not nice things about us. But, think, if things dont happen, there is nothing to be talked about.
5. We have to believe there is certain people are afraid of commitment. (Ponder, Sufi, we talked about this, ait?) And yes, in the end, we are feeling like we are the victims here.
6. We have to prove that we can do it. Because some people (friends, bosses) put big hope, expectation on us. They hope we can do it…maybe not right…but at least we did! and we tried!
7. We have to have faith. In ourselves, mostly.
8. We have to be confident with ourselves. We have to believe we can do it. and we have to prove it.
9. Love is not everything. (huh)
10. My life is about 80% of what happened in Grey’s Anatomy last night! What a week!

People have scars. In all sorts of unexpected places. Like secret roadmaps of their personal histories. Diagrams of all their old wounds. Most of our wounds heal, leaving nothing behind but a scar. But some of them don’t. Some wounds we carry with us everywhere and though the cut’s long gone, the pain still lingers.

What’s worse? New wounds which are so horribly painful or old wounds that should have healed years ago and never did? Maybe our old wounds teach us something. They remind us where we’ve been and what we’ve overcomed. They teach us lessons about what to avoid in the future. That’s what we like to think. But that’s not the way it is, is it?
