I was planning to go back home on last weekend, to attend my friend’s weeding reception at Kota Bharu. While I was idling around in applying leave, my brother texted me saying that my parent is going to Kuantan this weekend, for my uncle’s akad. No rain, no storm, [takde ribut takde hujan], I was shocked to know that my youngest uncle[he’s 24] is gonna get married, soon enough! After all, it was barely a month since grandma’s gone. Jodoh. Who could tell.
So, I drove to Kuantan, alone on Saturday morning. An officemate told me that usually it took about 5 hours from Putrajaya to Kuantan. I made it in 3 hours. Hah. Exit Gambang la tapi. My family [grandpa, uncles, aunties, cousins] were suprised [actually they were all kagum, but pretend not to, huhu…] to know that I could drive alone, [and fast] to Kuantan. So, there goes all the phrase “cepatlah kawin, along” because I knew I could take good care of myself. Hehe. So they believed that I don’t have boyfriend now, and they learned that I always tell the truth when they were asking me about “takkan takde bf lagi long…” Gila ke? I won’t lie la if it is about life partner, it’s a good news. So, mak ngah, I don’t lie to you, okay. Along bukan artis mau sorok-sorok. Huu.
It was a good feeling to see my parent and my siblings there. I missed them so much. Although we could spend less than two hours together, I reckoned that it was a good/quality hours with them. 🙂 My parent had to rush back because they had to work on Sunday. So, I went back and spent the rest of Saturday at Ampang. I was so homesick. Huhu. I had dinner with Kak Nana before returning to Seri Kembangan that night.
Sunday morning, I rushed back to Ampang to join Kak Nana’s family morning out at Bukit Belacan. Best giler. Thanks for the invites, sis. I had my time. It was a memorable moment for my cousin, Nurul as she seldom got a chance to go for picnic as her parent was always busy even on weekend. I was appointed to babysit Nurul yesterday because my uncle had an appointment with his client. It was a pleasure I think.
Nurul and I had our lunch at izzi, Jusco Setiawangsa. I was there to meet my bestfriend, Jaja [I was her pengapit ari tu] and her husband and her 10 months old daughter yang sombong tak nak dengan orang lain. Menyampah! Haha. Taufik [pengapit abang] was there too. 😉 Thanks Ja for coming!
I went home to lots of clothes untuk dibasuh, dilipat dan dijemur. 😛
I had a good weekend. Thanks to everyone!
p.s : Tahniah to mamawafiy yang dah selamat bersalin! More and more babies coming out this month! 😉
