*Pemutihan is not whitening! It’s more of clearing them (from our country, for good). 🙂
As most of us have heard, knew or read, or maybe didn’t have any idea at all, Malaysia is now having such a big program to decrease the number of illegal foreign workers (PATI). The program had started since early second half of the year.
Anyway, I am the coordinator for one of too many subsectors. I am in charge for cargo handling subsector. Which falls under the services sector.
I just want to clarify that my decision will be based on these;
- all of the works must take place in our places, that includes the ports and airports. For those cargo handlers doing business in factory or anywhere outside these two places, you have to go to maybe the manufacturing sectors;
- you (the companies) have registered your need of foreign workers through our Port Authorities or Maskargo. Otherwise, you have to have maybe a support document from them, depending on where your business take place;
- your workers have complete documents, the registration slips and passports; and
- you do well during the interview; you bring complete documents etc.
I will not be working at the counter on weekdays but other officers will be there.
I am hoping they will do well, I will be there only on weekends, because you know, nobody wants to work on weekend and since the management of KDN wants to open even on weekend, I have to be there. I guess I just have to be patient and pray that this will end on its due date.
No more extension please.
Meanwhile, have a great day today~
