Siem Reap :)

I was in Siem Reap before, attending a two day meeting and a day waiting for an aero plane. We were on standby list. Alhamdulillah we got the direct flight back on Sunday. Though it was a bonus Saturday for us, we went to visit Angkor Wat. πŸ™‚

That’s one of 7 wonders… in the world…

Never mind, let the picture do the talking, okay?

the engraving is getting fade 😦

the engraving tells the story of the lost kingdom πŸ˜‰

next time we go, I want to be able to afford for a tourist guide....

wonder how did they do it....

from the tower... πŸ™‚ i actually climbed it!

  1. i will come back again, nak cover more temples…
there are about 30 ruins… not as big as Angkor Wat but still interesting… πŸ˜‰
Bayon and Angkor Wat are a must if you could visit only two temple ruins…

  2. whoa..amazing..kalau nak tahu aku mmg bercita2 nak ke angkor wat…dulu aku kan bercita2 nak jadi archeologist

  4. kalu mu perasang.. temple di sini same dengang hok dok ade di yogyakarta.. ade pulok orang hendown ngaku kate.. siem reap tuh.. fok2 hendown gi buat..

    • hahaha… that’s another matter..
masalahnya isu ni digembar gembur oleh rakyatnya saja kut… sedangkan aku rasa kerajaan mereka okay jer ngan kerajaan kita…
they don’t travel enough to see what’s in siem reap… and I don’t think they understand that things are same but not similar… they don’t understand the definition enough, don’t you think? take batik for example… batik is so widely known… even orang putih pun ada batik sndiri (i think) but all they see are their batik and malaysia batik only…
i hate to say it but i dont think one asean will be realized if people have this kind of mindset…
